Hi my name is Constance Clinton. Some of you all know me as CC&STYLES.
I'm a self-taught designer, a resident of Gary Indiana and a hair stylist since 1990 all here in the city of Gary.
I’m a person of creativity not only in hair, but also in the art of dance. As a praise dance leader at the church I attend, I had to make a decision how the dance ministry would be able to receive dance apparel after taking for the person who was ours seamstress whom ultimately elevated in Ministry.

One morning while preparing to minister before God and his people, the dance team asked what I would like for a Christmas gift. I told them to purchase me a sewing machine. They all looked at me with this strange look, but they did purchase the machine for me and from there, I began to make the dance apparel for our dance ministry. 
One day I decided to make something totally different for them and they were pleased with it! I also decided to make myself a summer dress. I wore the dress to church and the dress was a hit! 

I began to make different items and put them on Facebook just trying to see what kind of response I would received. I started receiving request for sales the summer of 2017. 
One day someone inboxed me and asked me to be a part of their fashion show November 10th, 2017. Of course I said no, but the person convinced me and so I stepped out in faith and became one of her designers for her show. 
To my surprise, I received a standing ovation! 
I then decided to try this on my own. I started booking models and vendors for my first show on January 5th, 2018.
It was a sell-out event and so many of my designs sold as well.
